Much of the city stretches along the scenic waterfront and is split into a number of notable districts. Both the bus station and Stazione Centrale in Naples can be found close to the Piazza Garibaldi, on the eastern side of Spaccanapoli, the city's historic centre.

Nearby, the Corso Umberto I Street can be found on the south side of Spaccanapoli and is known for its endless shopping opportunities, standing between both the Piazza Bovio and the Piazza Garibaldi.
